Some Ocean City businesses close after workers test positive for COVID-19

OCEAN CITY, Md. – Several businesses in Ocean City are closing their doors after some of their employees tested positive for the coronavirus.

Yesterday, businesses like Fish Tales announced its closure saying that three staff members tested positive for the virus.

The Crab Cake Factory USA also announced the closure of one of their locations.

They say on Friday, the Worcester County Health Department informed the business that they had received almost 100 anonymous calls about their business’ handling of the pandemic.

They say they will be meeting with health officials to try and implement a policy that will help keep staff and customers safe.

The Purple Moose Saloon also shutdown this week saying that two of their staff members tested positive for the virus.
