Salisbury Airport to receive more than $1.1 million in funding

SALISBURY, Md. – U.S. Secretary of Transportation Elaine Chao announced that the Trump Administration is awarding more than $1.1 million to the Salisbury-Ocean City Wicomico Regional Aiport to conduct taxiway rehabilitation.

We’re told this will help improve safety at the airport.

The new grant funding is made available through the U.S. Department of Transportation’s Federal Aviation Administration’s Airport Improvement Program. Officials say this is on top of the $18.1 million in emergency relief awarded to the airport through the CARES Act.
