Pohanka gives wheelchair accessible van to owner of Mogan’s Oyster House

SALISBURY, Md. – One family’s wish of a handicap accessible van has been granted.

On Monday, Pohanka of Salisbury announced they were pleased to deliver a brand new van to Denny Mogan, the owner of Mogan’s Oyster House, who was diagnosed with ALS in March. Mogan’s wife said even in spite of his mobility issues, she still wanted him to travel this summer and spend time with their two young sons.

Pohanka said they learned of their struggles when the family reached out to local friends and family, asking for help to find a wheelchair accessible van. On top of this, Pohanka says they will be assisting the Mogan family in establishing a non-profit in Denny Mogan’s name to help local families facing illness.
