Peninsula Regional labs: what’s open

LAUREL, Del. – Peninsula Regional Health System and Peninsula Regional FamilyLab have announced that the lab in the Peninsula Regional Family Medicine office in Laurel will reopen on Monday, July 6th.

The lab was closed back in March, out of an abundance of caution during the height of COVID-19. Lab hours will be Monday through Thursday from 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., and Fridays from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m. The lab is closed each weekday for lunch from 12 p.m. to 12:30 p.m.

Officials would also like to remind customers that the Hanna Outpatient Center Lab at PRMC remains closed to walk-in, general services at this time. It is temporarily open by appointment only Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m., and for COVID-19 testing by physician order only, weekdays from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m. General COVID-19 testing is not available at the Hanna Lab.

We’re told the Hanna Outpatient Center Lab will remain closed for general and walk-in services until Maryland lifts hospital restrictions in Phase 3 of the state’s reopening.
