Pemberton 24 – Festival of 5Ks to continue as planned

Pemberton 24

SALISBURY, Md. – County officials say this year’s Pemberton 24 will proceed as planned.

The event is scheduled for September 25th and 26th, featuring a 5K starting every hour on the hour for 24 hours. The course will be a trail run at Pemberton Park, with a well-stocked aid station at the start and finish of the 5Ks. Participants are invited to run as many 5Ks as they like, and can compete as individuals or as part of a four-person team.

A camping spot is also included with registration this year, but will be tent-only camping, as no electricity will be provided. The camping/rest area provided will be a 10 foot by 10 foot space, and people can request who they camp near and whether it is close to the starting line or a more quiet area.

Registration opens on Friday, July 3rd, at 7 p.m. The deadline (if the race does not sell out) is September 22nd at midnight. The cost to register is $65 for an individual, or $200 for a team of four.
