OCPD asking for help in assault investigation

OCEAN CITY, Md. – Ocean City Police are asking for the public’s help in locating the victim and suspects in an assault that happened last weekend.

We’re told the incident happened at around 11 p.m. on July 4th, in the area of 4th Street and the Boardwalk. Police say the assault, which was captured on a viral video on social media, has not yet been reported to the police.

Anyone who witnessed the assault or can provide information on the identities of the victim or suspects is asked to contact OCPD at 410-723-6604 or crimetips@oceancitymd.gov.
