Governor Carney formally extends State of Emergency

WILMINGTON, Del. – On Monday, Delaware Governor John Carney formally extended the State of Emergency for another 30 days as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic.

In a statement, Carney reminded citizens that face masks are still required in public settings, and everyone should continue washing and sanitizing their hands frequently and keep their distance from others outside of their household.

“Thank you to all Delawareans and visitors who are following these precautions. Stay vigilant. We will get through this by continuing to work together,” Carney said.
