SALISBURY, Md. – Kids all across the city will soon have more access to books.

Eight little free libraries will soon be placed throughout the city after being donated. Once they’re in place, the libraries can be filled with free books, and then community members can come take a book for free and of course hopefully leave one behind.

JerMichael Mitchell, with the city of Salisbury, tells 47 ABC he’s passionate about bringing books to every kid in the city because he believes reading truly makes a difference in their lives.

The libraries will be installed in various locations throughout the city, and then people can start filling them with books.
