Delmarva Shorebirds to hold drive-in fireworks show

SALISBURY, Md. – Delmarva Shorebirds officials announced on Friday that they will hold their first-ever drive-in fireworks show on Friday, July 24th at Arthur W. Perdue Stadium.

Passes will be $10 per car and must be purchased online in advance. The parking lot will open at 7:30 p.m., and fireworks will begin at 9 p.m. All attendees must arrive to the stadium by 8:30 p.m. through the Lot B entrance, and Hobbs Road will be closed starting at 8:50 p.m. Walk-ups are not permitted due to social distancing guidelines.

Fans will have to remain in their vehicles for the duration of the event. Fans will be permitted to roll down their windows or poke their head through a sunroof, but may not leave their vehicle, sit in a truck bed/trunk, etc. All vehicles must be able to fit in one regular parking spot; RVs, buses, and oversized vehicles are not permitted.

All concessions, bathrooms, and Shorebirds offices will be closed, and fans will not be allowed to enter the stadium during the event.
