Delaware State Fair offers ‘touchless experience’ with FunTagg app

HARRINGTON, Del. – Organizers at the Delaware State Fair are encouraging Delawareans to use a new app at the fair this year to help prevent the spread of the coronavirus.

The app is called FunTagg and it gives fairgoers a completely touchless experience.

Guests can use the app to serve as their ticket to the fair or they can use it to purchase a wristband voucher.

The app can be used to buy food as well.

According to the Delaware State Fair Assistant General Manager Danny Aguilar, this kind of technology will help to ensure the safety of all guests at the fair this year.

“It’s a great technology and as we’re moving forward with new opportunities to take care of our customers our guests this is yet another way of improving the guest experience,” said Aguilar.

The app also allows the fair to see which rides are most popular as well, says Aguilar.
