Shots fired in Dover Friday night at Uncle Willies Woodside

DOVER, Del.- Delaware State Police are investigating a shots fired incident that happened Friday night.

Police said around 11 p.m. they arrived at Uncle Willies Woodside in Dover for a shots fired complaint.

Police said five people were involved in a verbal confrontation with others in a dark colored car in the parking lot of Uncle Willies Woodside.

We are told a male got out of the car and fired several shots from a handgun at the group of individuals and then fled the area.

Police said a total of (9) .40 caliber shell casings were recovered at the scene and three of the rounds fired struck the Uncle Willies building.

Police said  there are no reports of injury as a result of the incident.
