Salisbury’s Red White and BOOM 4th of July fireworks canceled

SALISBURY, Md. – This year’s 4th of July fireworks show in Salisbury has been canceled.

Red White and BOOM officials took to Facebook to make the announcement Wednesday afternoon.

“It’s with a heavy heart we announce our decision to CANCEL our 2020 event. We all want to see Fireworks on the 4th of July, but at this time, we’re not confident we’d be able to maintain social distancing and ensure the health and safety of our guests and community,” the post said.

Officials say they plan to return with the event in 2021.
