PRMC discharges COVID-19 patient after two months

SALISBURY, Md. – Peninsula Regional Medical Center’s COVID-19 team is filled with joy after discharging a patient who had been at their facility for two months.

PRMC says Miguel was admitted back at the beginning of April. Hospital staff say he fought for his life and nearly lost the battle a few times. The team says they fought alongside him and never gave up hope that he would pull through.

Due to restrictions, Miguel had not seen his family in months, and when he was able to hug his mother, there was not a dry eye in the house.
