OC Police arrest Cambridge man for assault and robbery
OCEAN CITY, Md. – Ocean City Police have arrested a Cambridge man in connection to an assault and robbery that took place last week.
We’re told the incident occurred shortly after 4 a.m. on June 9th, near 7th Street and Philadelphia Avenue. The 21-year-old male victim reported that he had been robbed and assaulted in that area.
Further investigation led police to identify the suspect as 20-year-old Isiah Foster of Cambridge and issued a warrant for his arrest. On Sunday, officers were monitoring a disorderly group near 9th Street and the Boardwalk when they observed Foster in the area. Foster reportedly tried to run from officers, but was quickly taken into custody.
He has been charged with robbery, theft of $100 to $1500, and second degree assault. He is currently being held without bond at the Worcester County Jail.
