Milford residents march miles in memory of Brandon Roberts

MILFORD, Del. – In Milford, people in the community marched in memory of Brandon Roberts who was shot and killed by Milford police back in January.

Organizers say the march began at the place where Roberts was killed and ended at City Hall in Milford.

We’re told Roberts’ family is demanding justice and they’re hoping state legislators will respond to their Brandon Roberts Law proposal.

And activists we spoke to say they hope this march will help bring change.

“We’re not just marching because everybody else is protesting, but we are marching to change, change and I believe looking at the news across the world, a change is called for,” said Krystle Gardner-Blackwell, the owner of G.G.C. Incorporated and a member of the National Action Network.

Krystle Gardner-Blackwell from the National Action Network says they hope this march will ultimately bring about change in Delaware and bring justice for Roberts’ family.
