Local teen receives bike to help him get to work

GEORGETOWN, Del. – One teen recently got a much needed bike to help him get to and from work.

Jim Martin with the Shepard’s Office says a woman working at the Arby’s in Georgetown reached out to their office saying that a 17-year-old boy had recently started a job there, but needed a bike to get to and from work. She said they wanted to keep the teen on board because he is a great trainee and picked up new skills pretty fast.

Martin says that the Shepard’s Office bought the boy a brand new bike from Walmart so he can get to and from work.
