Health officials announce 36 new COVID-19 cases, 3 new deaths in Del.
SMYRNA, Del. – The Delaware Division of Health says there are three new coronavirus related deaths in the state.
We’re told that one was a New Castle County resident, while the other two were Kent County residents. All reportedly had underlying health conditions, and ranged in age from 65 to 85. To date, 413 Delawareans have died as a result of the virus.
Officials have announced announced an additional 36 cases, bringing the statewide total to 10,056. Sussex County has seen the most cases at 4,373, New Castle with 4,139, and 1,530 in Kent. At this time, 108 individuals are hospitalized, 17 of whom are critically ill.
Nearly 6,000 Delawareans have made a full recovery from the virus.
