Harrington man arrested on aggravated menacing charge
HARRINGTON, Del. – Harrington Police arrested a man for aggravated menacing following an investigation over the weekend.
We’re told that shortly before 9 a.m. Sunday, officers on patrol were called to respond to a report of terroristic threatening in the 100 block of Fleming Street. It was learned that 50-year-old John Rainey and the victim, who reportedly live in the same residence that is divided into apartments, got into a verbal argument. During the argument, Rainey allegedly grabbed a knife and threatened the victim with it.
Rainy was arrested and charged with one count of felony aggravated menacing. He was later released on his own recognizance.
