Governor Hogan extends emergency order prohibiting utility shut-offs

ANNAPOLIS, Md. – Governor Larry Hogan announced on Tuesday that he has extended the emergency order prohibiting utility providers from shutting off or charging late fees for residential services, including electricity, water, phone, and internet.

This will be in effect through August 1st.

Governor Hogan first issued the order on March 16th, shortly after declaring a State of Emergency for the state. To read the full order, click here.
