Dorchester Co. school leaders thanking post office worker

EAST NEW MARKET, Md. – Dorchester County school leaders and officials are thanking a post officer worker who helped provide learning materials to students.

On Facebook, Dorchester County Public Schools posted a photo of Mark Carels at the East New Market Post Office. They say Carels went above and beyond to help school teams send about 3,000 learning packets out to students every other week while schools were closed.

School leaders also thanked other post office employees for their hard work in helping teachers “deliver” lessons, saying not all heroes wear capes.
