Delaware State Fair updates covid-related plan
HARRINGTON, Del. – With less than thirty days to go until the Delaware State Fair, organizers are finalizing how to make the fair safe during the pandemic.
Fair organizers released information on how they plan to operate, including posting signs letting people know where masks will be required, screening employees for symptoms and fevers, and separating guests on rides and attractions.
There will also be hand sanitizing stations throughout the fair, increased cleaning teams, and no condiment stations, meaning ketchup, mustard, and other condiments will be stored and given to customers by request.
The nightly parade has been canceled, as officials say it would be hard to maintain social distance during that event.
A full list and breakdown of the procedures can be found on the fair’s website.
