Delaware family biking to help those in need

LEWES, Del. – One family in Delaware is doing everything they can to help those in need during the coronavirus pandemic.

Besty and Jesse Bare and their two daughters Maggie and Avery love to go biking, but now they’re doing it for a good cause. The family plans to bike 100 miles in the month of June, while raising money to make sure every family has what they need through the pandemic. They say they are collecting donations through Facebook while updating followers on their bike rides.

“We decided since the COVID-19 is causing a lot of people to lose their jobs and not have enough money to buy the essentials, we decided to bike and get out so we could help raise money to give them what they need,” said Maggie Bare.

If you’re interested in donating, you can do so through Facebook by searching for Maggie and Avery’s bike for change, or you can donate directly to the Harry K Foundation by also searching Maggie and Avery’s Bike for change.
