Del. officials announce 30 new COVID-19 cases

SMYRNA, Del. – The Delaware Division of Public Health says there are an additional 30 cases of coronavirus in the state.

The state has seen a total of 9,972 cases as of 6 p.m. Sunday. Sussex County has seen the most cases, with a total of 4,353, while Kent has seen 1,513, and New Castle has seen 4,095. At this time, 113 individuals are hospitalized, 22 of whom are critically ill.

A total of 5,791 Delawareans have made a full recovery from the virus.

No new deaths are being reported in the state at this time.

Officials also say the total number of individuals recovered was reduced by one as a result of reconciling a data entry issue, such as a duplicate entry.
