Clear Space Theatre Company preparing to reopen on July 6 with new changes
REHOBOTH BEACH, Md.- The Clear Space Theatre Company in Rehoboth Beach announced they will be reopening next month, but with a few new changes.
The Executive Director of Clear Space, Wesley Paulson, said they have plans to reopen on July 6.
To reopen, they are redesigning the theater to ensure their actors and audience members can follow social distancing guidelines.
We’re told there will be a side entrance to divide the audience in two groups when they arrive and there will be no concession sales.
Paulson said getting the chance to reopen this summer will bring back some normalcy during the COVID-19 pandemic.
“Right now, it’s also entertaining and distracting and that’s what I think we need and we are looking forward to being a part of a vibrant community and letting people begin to feel like you know wow we’re going to get through this,” Paulson said.
Paulson said in addition to the changes being made their summer camps have been postponed.
They usually start after July 4th, but now won’t begin until possibly August.
