AK-47 firearm seized, four arrested in Ocean City
OCEAN CITY, Md. – Ocean City Police say four suspects were arrested and an AK-47 firearm was seized in the town last week.
On June 10th, police located a city ordinance violation involving several subjects sleeping in a car. On contact with the occupants, officers smelled marijuana and initiated a search of the vehicle. Bullet holes were found in the rear tailgate of the vehicle, in addition to the discovery of marijuana, a Glock 23 .40 caliber handgun, and a Century Arms Micro Draco 7.62 x 39 mm pistol (assault style handgun).
It was also learned that one of the occupants had an active arrest warrant out of Harrisburg, PA for discharging a firearm into an occupied structure.
As a result, police arrested 19-year-old Ijahmiere Mckinney, 18-year-old Ty’ant Gibson, a 16-year-old male, and a 17-year-old male, all of Harrisburg, PA. Mckinney and the juveniles were each charged with CDS possession with intent to distribute but Gibson was charged with CDS possession with intent to distribute, loaded handgun on person, possession of a firearm minor, assault weapon/mag use, and other gun and drug related charges.
