76 new COVID-19 cases, 1 new death in Del.
SMYRNA, Del. – The Delaware Division of Public Health is reporting one new death in the state as a result of the coronavirus.
We’re told the 64-year-old New Castle County woman was a long-term care resident and had underlying health conditions. To date, 423 Delawareans have died from complications of the virus.
In addition, officials are reporting an additional 76 cases, bringing the statewide total to 10,340. Sussex County has seen 4,416 cases, while Kent has seen 1,565, and New Castle has seen 4,345. 88 individuals are currently hospitalized, 13 of whom are critically ill.
A total of 6,172 Delawareans have made a full recovery from the virus.
