50 new COVID-19 cases, 1 new death announced in Del.
SMYRNA, Del. – The Delaware Division of Public Health has announced one new death as a result of the coronavirus in the state.
We’re told the 62-year-old Kent County man had underlying health conditions. To date, 414 Delawareans have died from complications of the virus.
Officials have also announced 50 new cases, bring the statewide total to 10,106. Sussex County has seen the most cases with 4,379, while Kent has seen 1,543, and New Castle has seen 4,171. 109 individuals are currently hospitalized, 18 of whom are critically ill.
There have now been more than 6,000 recoveries from COVID-19 in the state.
