42 new cases, 1 new death reported in Del.

SMYRNA, Del. – The Delaware Division of Public Health is reporting one new death from coronavirus in the state.

We’re told the individual was a 70-year-old New Castle County man who had underlying health conditions. A total of 505 Delawareans have passed away as a result of the virus.

There are also an additional 42 cases in the state, bringing the total number of cases to 10,889. Sussex County has seen 4,522 cases, while Kent has seen 1,628, and New Castle has seen 4,720. 85 individuals are currently hospitalized, 18 of whom are critically ill.

A total of 6,598 Delawareans have made a full recovery from the virus.
