34 new COVID-19 cases, 11 new deaths announced in Del.
SMYRNA, Del. – The Delaware Division of Public Health is reporting an additional 11 deaths related to coronavirus in the state.
Eight of the most recent deaths involved Sussex County residents, while the other three were Kent County residents. We’re told all had underlying health conditions, and ranged in age from 66 to 92. To date, 386 Delawareans have died from complications of the virus.
Officials are also reporting an additional 34 cases, bringing the statewide total to 9,746. Sussex County has seen 4,314 cases, while Kent has seen 1,454, and New Castle has seen 3,925. 142 individuals are currently hospitalized, 28 of whom are critically ill.
A total of 5,562 Delawareans have made a full recovery from the virus.
