27 new COVID-19 cases, 2 new deaths announced in Del.
SMYRNA, Del. – The Delaware Division of Public Health has announced two new deaths related to COVID-19 in the state.
We’re told both individuals were Kent County residents and ranged in age from 78 to 87. One individual had underlying health conditions.
In addition, the state has 27 new cases, bringing the total to 9,773. 4,322 of those cases have been in Sussex County, 1,465 in Kent, and 3,937 in New Castle. 128 individuals are currently hospitalized, 26 of whom are critically ill.
A total of 5,631 Delawareans have made a full recovery from the virus.
