Delaware State Police looking for man who allegedly shot his ex-girlfriend’s father

GREENWOOD, Del.- Delaware State Police are looking for a man who they said shot his ex-girlfriend’s father Saturday night.

Police said 19-year-old, Edward Palmer, from Felton, Delaware went looking for his ex-girlfriend at the 10000 block of Memory Rd., but she was not home at the time.

Police said Palmer was heard outside the home threatening to shoot his ex-girlfriend’s dog and assault her father who was inside the home.

Officials said Palmer fired three rounds at the home, hitting his ex-girlfriend’s 42-year-old father.

We are told the father sustained two non-life threatening gunshot wounds and was transported to a local hospital for treatment.

Troopers have been unable to locate Palmer.

Palmer has an active warrant out for assault first degree, possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony, criminal mischief, and breach of release.
