Weather Tidbits: Dew and Frost

The 2 weather things produced by condensation are the main focus of this Weather Tidbits.  Frost and dew occur on calm and clear nights and are fully formed by early morning. They both depend on the temperature falling below the dew point of the surface air, with dew happening mostly above freezing while frost below freezing. The biggest differences between both is that frost occurs when water vapor changes to ice without being a liquid known as deposition, and it also has a damaging effect on crops and plants.
