UMES staff members donate face shields to Coastal Hospice

SALISBURY, Md. – Many institutions are working hard to make sure local first responders are taken care of and protected during the pandemic.

On Thursday, staff members from the University of Maryland Eastern Shore made a drive-by donation to the healthcare workers at Coastal Hospice. Using the school’s 3D printer, Dr. Richard De Benedetto made 50 face shields for the workers. He says he will continue this effort and make more for the 190-members staff at Coastal Hospice.
