Two Eastern Shore Walmart stores to open as COVID-19 testing sites

ANNAPOLIS, Md. – Governor Larry Hogan announced on Friday that several Walmart stores in Maryland will open as COVID-19 test sites.

This comes after Hogan announced the partnership with CVS Pharmacy to open test sites at their stores across the state earlier this week.

Maryland residents interested in taking a self-administered, self-swab COVID-19 test will be able to do so at either the Cambridge Walmart, located at 2775 Dorchester Square, or the Fruitland Walmart, located at 409 N Fruitland Blvd.

Tests will provided at specific drive-up locations outside these stores three days a week, weather permitting. Walmart pharmacists and trained medical volunteers will provide test materials, and tests will be administered by appointment only. Appointments can be scheduled here.
