Tonight, mostly cloudy skies can be expected with a chance for showers in the late overnight hours as a low pressure system moves onto Delmarva. Lows will be in the mid 50s to low 60s. Tomorrow, scattered showers are possible throughout the day with mostly cloudy skies and highs in the upper 60s to low 70s. Friday night will still have that shower chance along with mostly cloudy skies and highs in the upper 50s to low 60s.
Saturday will have the possibility for scattered showers as the system continues to move through Delmarva. It will be warmer with highs in the mid to upper 70s. Sunday will dry out because high pressure will begin to build back into the region. Skies will be partly sunny to mostly cloudy and highs will be cooler in the 60s. Lows this weekend will be in the 50s.
High pressure will continue to keep the region dry throughout much of next week. Partly sunny skies can be expected throughout the forecast period. Memorial Day will have highs in the low 70s, but it will be cooler at the beaches. On Tuesday, we will start warm into the mid to upper 70s. Wednesday some parts of the region could reach 80 degrees, while others stay in the upper 70s. Thursday, highs will be in the upper 70s to low 80s again. Lows next week will be in the mid 50s to low 60s.
