Today’s Forecast: May 20, 2020

Mostly cloudy skies will continue tonight with cool low temperatures in the upper 40s to low 50s. The clouds linger tomorrow with highs in the mid to upper 60s. High pressure will keep us relatively dry with some peeks of sun possible. A surface low pressure system moving onto Delmarva will cause Friday to have scattered showers throughout the day. Even though there will be mostly cloudy skies, highs will be warmer in the low to mid 70s. Low temperatures will stay in the mid to upper 50s and maybe even the low 60s for some parts.

The beginning of the weekend still has mostly cloudy skies on Saturday. As the system continues to pass through, there is still a chance for scattered showers, but highs will be in the mid 70s for Delmarva. By Sunday, high pressure begins to build back into the region and skies will be partly sunny. However, northeast winds will bring back cool high temperatures in the upper 60s and near 70. Lows this weekend can be expected to be in the mid to upper 50s.

It is looking like Memorial Day will be a bit milder as high pressure continues to dominate. Partly sunny skies can be expected with highs in the low to mid 70s. Tuesday will be another dry day with partly sunny skies and highs in the mid 70s. Wednesday is looking warmer with parts of the area reaching into the low 80s.

Have a great night!
