SU announces new safety protocols for employees as they return to work
SALISBURY, Md. – Salisbury University has announced new safety protocols for employees as it enters the first phase of its “Return to Campus” plan leading to the fall semester.
Beginning Monday, June 1st, critical employees whose job duties cannot be completed off campus will be required to check in at COVID-19 symptom screening stations on East Campus before reporting to work. Those who are identified as not having symptoms will be cleared to continue to work. Those with symptoms will need to contact their supervisors to receive information on self-confinement and medical care. SU does not have the capacity for testing at this time.
Currently, less than 300 critical employees are cleared to be on campus, divided among multiple shifts. Most employees will continue to work from home, and campus buildings remain closed to the public.
