Somerset Co. Health Department reporting first COVID-19 death

WESTOVER, Md. – The Somerset County Health Department has announced its first death due to COVID-19.

We’re told the individual had underlying health conditions before contracting the virus.

The health department is reminding citizens to continue practicing physical distancing, washing their hands, sanitizing surfaces, and wearing a face covering when in public buildings.
