Seasons Best Antiques of Salisbury making changes for customers since re-opening Saturday

SALISBURY, Md.- Seasons Best Antiques of Salisbury has opened back up their doors, after getting the green light from Governor Larry Hogan.

For vendors, this opening brings some light back into their lives.

“We are so excited to be here again, our customers were so happy to see us again,” Shelly Ellison, vendor at Seasons Best Antiques of Salisbury, said.

This store was forced to close back in March due to the COVID-19 pandemic, not long after opening their new location in Salisbury.

“We opened in January and did very, very well from the beginning, so it was quite abrupt to be closed and we’re trying to pick up where we left off,” Ellison said.

Ellison said that while the store was closed she instead sold her items online or made appointments with clients.

“We did give access to the vendors in case they wanted to have access to merchandise they can sell on the side on their own,” Ellison said.

But now that Seasons Best is open, anyone can come shop in store, but they should expect to see some changes.

“We sanitized everything, we put a plexiglass up between the customer when we are writing bills, and when someone leaves we have a Clorox solution that we wipe the handles down,” Marlene Bohn, a vendor at Seasons Best of Salisbury, said.

“We do require customers to wear a mask in the store at all times,” Ellison said.

Vendors told us that since re-opening the customers have flooded in.

“We’re like a big family, everybody’s kinda helping everybody out, and everybody’s asking how’s everybody doing,” Bohn said.

Seasons Best said that they are also selling hand made masks in the store for people to buy.

Plus, they are disinfecting all of their merchandise they are selling.

Seasons Best Antiques said they are now open seven days a week from 10 a.m to 5 p.m., and they will be having a parking lot sale next weekend from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.
