The Salisbury Metro Area has an estimated population of about 406-thousand people according to the 2017 census. It includes Somerset, Wicomico, Worcester and Sussex counties. The New York Times says about four in every 1-thousand people have tested positive for COVID-19 in this area.

But some good news is that the growth in cases in the Salisbury metro area is now slowing. As for the number of deaths in the last two weeks, the Salisbury Metro Area ranks 44th in the nation.
