Pivot Physical Therapy creates food pantry for families in need
SALISBURY, Md. – In Salisbury, a local business is giving back in more ways that one to make sure both their clients and the community aren’t going to bed hungry during this coronavirus pandemic. Recently, Pivot Physical Therapy started a food pantry for those in need during these tough times. Clinic director Tanya Dickson tells 47 ABC that the pantry is open for anyone who needs it and if people can’t make it to them, and they can deliver the food as well. Since announcing their new initiative, Dickson says people have been stopping by left and right to donate food and other canned goods to help out as well.’
“I just think it’s great how the community has really been coming together to share these things. Just to see how everybody else is doing these small scale things and these small scale things build up to create something beautiful during such a hard time in everybody’s life,” said Dickson.
If you’re interested in dropping off any donations or you’re in need of picking up some food, Pivot Physical Therapy in Salisbury is open Monday through Friday from 8 AM until 6 PM. Or you can give them a call at 410-324-7409.or email Dickson at tdickson@pivoths.com.
