Over 2,000 people tested for COVID-19 at Perdue Stadium

SALISBURY, Md. – The Wicomico County Health Department says this weekend’s drive-thru testing event for critical employees was a huge success.

The event, which was set up to test critical employees, including poultry workers and their families, was held on Friday and Saturday at Perdue Stadium in Salisbury. Officials say 2,139 individuals were tested during the event and given education materials. All participants will contacted within the next couple of days with their test results.

The health department also gave a shout out to the 100 staff members working this event.
