Mogan’s Oyster House opened for outdoor dining services at 5PM Friday in Salisbury

SALISBURY, Md.–In Maryland at 5 PM, restaurants were allowed to begin offering outdoor dining to customers.

Mogan’s Oyster House in Salisbury said they have been preparing for this moment for quite some time now.

The owners said they have moved tables from inside to outside that are 6-ft. a part from each other.

Also, they said workers are carrying hand sanitizer with them, and all menus, serving dishes, utensils and glassware is being sanitized.

Owners said all of these changes brought some new challenges.

“We have new expenses because we have new roles that are being created, having someone to simply walk around and ensure sanitization is not a model that’s existed in the restaurant business for any kind of time,” Brad Mogan, owner and general manager said, said.

Mogans Oyster House said they are taking reservations online.

They will be open Friday until 9 and then starting tomorrow they will be open everyday from 11:30 AM to 9 PM.
