Kuhn’s Jewelers doing Facebook live showcases to sell jewelry

SALISBURY, Md.- Kuhn’s Jewelers in Salisbury is now back open to customers, but with some new changes.

Owner, Susan Purnell, told 47 ABC that her store has been closed since the end of March, but she opened it back up on Tuesday.

Right now, Purnell is only allowing one customer in at a time and social distancing has to be followed.

Purnell said that since the pandemic began her store has resorted to doing online sales and live showcases on Facebook.

“It’s worth it to be there and to be there for people when they need us because you know what it’s been a crazy time, but birthdays and anniversaries and graduations they continue to exist,” Purnell said.

Now, even though the store is back open, Purnell is still doing live showcases.

Wednesday night Purnell had a live graduation showcase at 5 where customers could claim items they wanted on Facebook.
