Gas and oil company supporting STEM in local schools

SALISBURY, Md. – One gas and oil company is pushing the importance of science, technology, engineering, and math in 19 local schools.

The Cato Gas and Oil Company and Goose Creek Convenience Stores announced on Wednesday that they will give $500 checks to local schools in the area to support STEM programs, including Berlin Intermediate School, Crisfield High, North Salisbury Elementary, Delmar Elementary, and Milford High.

Officials from Cato say supporting the next generation of scientists and engineers is something they are proud to do. The Salisbury-based company says they plan to do more donations like this one in the future to continue to support STEM programs in the future.
