Fruitland Police officer helps stray kitten

FRUITLAND, Md. – One Fruitland Police officer recently went above and beyond to help out a furry friend.

The Community Cats Coalition took to Facebook on Monday to thank Corporal Brown of the Fruitland Police Department for stopping in the middle of a busy highway to pick up this little kitten. Corporal Brown called the Coalition to come pick up the cat and make sure she is taken care of. The group says they are going out to the site where the kitten was found to see if they can find the mama or any other siblings.
