Drive-thru COVID-19 testing event to be held in Westover

WESTOVER, Md. – The Somerset County Health Department has announced that a free drive-thru COVID-19 testing event will be held on Tuesday, June 2nd.

The event will be held from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the health department, located at 8928 Sign Post Road. The event is open to the general public and a doctor’s referral is not needed, however an appointment is required. Those interested in being tested should call 443-523-1920 during regular business hours to schedule an appointment.

On the day of the test, only those who have an appointment will be tested. Officials are encouraging individuals to bring a photo ID on the day of the test.
