DPH announces 118 additional positive COVID-19 cases, one new death in Del.

SMYRNA, Del. – The Delaware Division of Public Health says there are 118 new COVID-19 cases in the state, as well as one death.

We’re told the most recent death was a 54-year-old female long-term care resident from Kent County with underlying health conditions.

As of 6 p.m. Sunday, the state had a total of 6,565 total cases. Sussex County now has a total of 3,091 cases, with 1,044 in Kent, and 2,390 in New Castle. At this time, 275 individuals are hospitalized, 58 of whom are critically ill.

In addition, 2,619 Delawareans have made a full recovery from the virus.
