Community Group Seeks More Partners

A newly-formed coalition in Delaware is looking to grow even more amid the coronavirus pandemic.

The Cape Community Coordination for COVID group is on a mission to identify needs within the area and fill those gaps by matching people up with the resources they need.

CCC4COVID is made up of 60 organizations including non-profits, churches, municipalities and other government agencies.

The group meets virtually twice a week to discuss peoples needs and ways to address them.

Group founder, Jen Mason says one of the greatest needs right now is food.

“A lot of what we’re focusing on is food-need and education. Alot of folks who now need assistance have never had to have it before. Some organizations have rules and with others you can just show up “, says founder Sue Mason.
