Cafe on the Circle helping a local entertainer bring happiness back into the Georgetown community

GEORGETOWN, Del.- A small cafe and bistro is trying to help a local entertainer bring smiles back to the community during the coronavirus pandemic.

The owner of Cafe on the Circle, Michael Oxbrough, offered DJ Sky Brady a gig at his cafe to play music for passing cars and guests from 11 AM to 1 PM.

Oxbrough said that since the pandemic started it has left many entertainers without a job.

He adds that this opportunity was not only to help Brady financially, but to also bring happiness to cars that passed by to listen.

“I think it’s time that we wake up the music, un-silence it, and let’s get some friendliness back, and hopefully this starts it,” Oxbrough said.

The owner said a few local officials stopped by, like the Mayor.

We are also told that after today’s event Clayton Theatre in Dagsboro hired DJ Sky Brady for a gig on Friday from 4 to 8.
